If this is your first time, here's a calm walk-through of what to do before you let the bot loose.

Not ready to risk real money yet? Switch your broker to Paper first (see Paper Trading) — everything below works the same, just with simulated funds.
1. Confirm you're signed in
You'll know you're signed in because you're looking at the Dashboard. If you ever see a sign-in screen instead, that's expected — it means your session timed out or you signed out.
2. Glance at the top banner
The strip across the top of every page shows your live score: how many trades are active, how many have already closed today, your win/loss record, and your Profit & Loss so far. If it says Active: 0 and Completed: 0, the bot simply hasn't done anything yet today — that's normal.
3. Open the Strategies (or Trading Settings) page
This is the rule book your bot follows. Before you flip trading on, give every section a quick read:
- Killswitch — the maximum loss (or profit) at which the bot stops opening new trades for the day.
- Profit Target / Stop-Loss — how much each trade is allowed to gain or lose before the bot closes it.
- Trading Hours — the window during which new trades can open.
- Trade Limits — the maximum number of trades per day, the maximum number of trades open at once.
Tip
If you're brand new, the safest thing to do is load a Conservative preset (from the Quick Start area) and leave it alone for a week. Then look at your history and adjust.
4. Watch one live trade end-to-end
The very best way to learn the portal is to leave it open during a trading session and watch one trade go through its whole life: an alert comes in, a position appears on Live Trades, prices update tick by tick, the bot exits, and the trade moves to History. Five minutes of watching teaches more than five paragraphs of reading.
5. Bookmark the panic button
The big Flatten All button in the top banner closes every open trade at market price immediately. You probably won't ever need it. But it's good to know where it is before you do.
